Anyway I poured a small bag of rice in each sox and tied the end. I put in the micro wave for 2-3 minutes, then it is ready to put on your aches and pains. I have made smaller ones to put on my eyes. OHHHH that feels so good. Sometimes I have put cinnamon in with the bag. Yes, I have a lot of them. My grandkids like to shuggle up with them on cold nights. Great for putting in the foot of the bed to warm those cold feet. Warms your hands up fast when cold. My husband uses it for his back pain and after his surgery. 100 and 1 uses. I love them. So, if you ever wondered what to do with that odd sox....make an "Umpa'. And somebody will soon ask you...Where's an "Umpa"..."I need an Umpa".
Ahhh there's mine keeping my barefeet warm while I type. Nothing like a warm "Umpa" and some tea in the morning.
Now for "Glass hair" many of us get dry brittle hair that breaks and/or comes out by the handful. Some call it "Glass Hair" There are websites and people out there that will tell you what vitamins to take or herbs that help. You can look them up. I am not much into that and besides there are so many to pick from. What I can tell you is what I do. At least once a week I coat my hair with Olive oil. I leave it on while I watch a movie or what ever. Then I wash it out with Baby shampoo. Sometimes I use mayonnaise sometimes. It may not help much with the fall out but it sure makes your hair shine and look smooth. My great grandmother and aunts did this and they had the most beautiful hair. My daughter uses Baby oil...same results. It it makes me feel good ....well I try it.
Beautiful eyes and skin. Every night before bed I coat my eye's with vaseline, but not just my eyes I smooth on some all over my face and hands. My husband will tell you I have very smooth skin and very dry when I don't do this every night. It does wonders for getting rid of that irritating around the eyes from tearing. So I also put it on my eyes in the day after rincing my face with just warm water.
